Getting there
We’re all flying out together on the Aer Lingus 07:40 from Dublin on Thursday 15th April, landing in Lisbon at 10:45.
Please hold off booking flights until we confirm the trip is going ahead. We need 12 people booked, and we’ll email everyone the minute we get there. If you’d rather book early, choose a flexible or refundable fare so you’re covered if plans change.
Clann & Co is putting on a bus from Derry to Dublin Airport. We just ask everyone to chip in £10 towards it. Fair warning, it leaves in the middle of the night (around 2am), so bring a neck pillow and low expectations of sleep.
Coming home is up to you. Pick whichever Sunday flight suits.
Who’s this for?
Anyone who fancies a few days away with good people. You don’t need to know anyone going. That’s sort of the whole point. Rooms are twin share, so you’ll be sharing with someone from the group, and if you want to room with a friend, just tell us when you book.
FAQS
How much is it?
£625 per person, based on twin share.
What do I pay now?
A £190 deposit secures your spot, and the rest is due by mid-February.
Is the trip definitely going ahead?
Not yet. We need 12 people booked first. As soon as we hit 12, we’ll confirm by email and you can go ahead and book your flights.
What happens if the trip doesn’t go ahead?
Flights aren’t part of the trip, so Clann & Co and Junto can’t refund any flight costs if the trip is cancelled. That’s why we’re asking everyone to wait, or to book a flexible fare.
Are flights included?
No. We’re recommending the Aer Lingus 07:40 from Dublin on Thursday 15th April, so we all arrive together for the airport pick-up. Please wait until we confirm the trip is going ahead before you book, or choose a flexible fare. You’re free to choose your own flight home.
When should I book my flights?
Once we’ve confirmed the trip is going ahead. If you book before then, please choose a flexible or refundable fare.
How do I get to Dublin?
On the Clann & Co bus from Derry. We ask for £10 towards it.
How early is the early start?
Very. The bus leaves Derry around 2am to get us to Dublin in time for the 07:40 flight. You’ll be in Lisbon by lunchtime though, so it’s worth it.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Loads of people will.
Can I room with my friend?
Yes. Let us know who you’d like to share with and we’ll sort it.
Can I get my own room?
Yes. You can choose a single room when you book, and you’ll see the extra cost before you pay.
What will we actually do?
A food tour, a pastel de nata workshop, a sunset cruise and a final dinner, with plenty of free time to explore. The full itinerary is on the booking page.
